Game Day Question: Where Is The Chargers High Powered Offense?

Where Is The Chargers High Powered Offense At?

Last week the Chargers kicked five field goals in a win over Oakland. FIVE. I don’t want to see my beloved Bolts kick their way to victory after being in the redzone that many times. What happened to all the creativity inside the 20 yard line? I comprehend there were a few dropped passes but at moments the goal line was so close yet, in reality, miles away.

I haven’t trashed Norv Turner yet but I am asking for him to finish a drive. The entire time I watched last week’s game I kept saying, “FINISH THE DRIVE!” It was a huge problem. I know it’s difficult to make strong assessments on a single game, but if this offense stays stagnant in the redzone we could be in trouble. I don’t have serious concerns with the defense after a good performance Week One. The quest to protect Philip Rivers will be a major factor and once again, Mike Harris will be asked to take on this task.

So, you tell me Bolt Addicts, where is this high powered offense I’ve been hearing about? What will “Offensive Guru” Norv Turner come up with this week to make sure The San Diego Chargers walk away with victory number two – on a very special day?
