The NFL Draft has arrived and here are your First Round’s Top Ten Picks for 2012:

1. COLTS – Andrew Luck/QB – Stanford
As expected, the Colts’ 2011 mission to “Suck For Luck” was accomplished.

2. REDSKINS – Robert Griffith III/QB – Baylor
Washington traded three first-round picks and a second-rounder to the St. Louis Rams in order to obtain the No. 2 spot to draft a quarterback.

3. BROWNS – Trent Richardson/RB – Alabama
Browns traded up one spot with the Vikings to land Richardson.

4. VIKINGS – Matt Kalil/OT – USC
Browns gave up their 4th, 5th and 7th round picks in this year’s draft. The 4th round pick going from the Browns to the Vikings was obtained from the Falcons in 2011′s draft-day trade. Smart move? Probably not.

5. JAGUARS – Justin Blackmon/WR – Oklahoma State
Jacksonville traded up with Tampa Bay from 7th to 5th and also gave up a 4th round selection (No. 101) in the deal.

6. COWBOYS – Morris Claiborne/CB – LSU
Dallas has acquired the No. 6 pick in the NFL draft in a trade with the St. Louis Rams. In return, Rams acquired the No. 14 and No. 45 overall picks in the deal.

7. TAMPA BAY – Mark Barron/SS – Alabama
Majority of Bolt Nation wanted and would have loved for Barron to have been drafted by the Chargers. However, with the 18th pick, it would’ve been a miracle if Barron was still around. Especially since Chargers did not opt to move up to draft him.

8. DOLPHINS – Ryan Tannehill/QB – Texas A & M
Miami needed a quarterback and we all knew that. I’m pretty sure Tannehill is the first quarterback the ‘Fins have drafted in the first round since Dan Marino back in 1983.

9. PANTHERS – Luke Kuechly/ILB – Boston College
Personally, I’m pretty happy Chargers did not select Kuechly. I think Melvin Ingram is the better selection because of his pass rushing ability – enables him to have more immediate impact.

10. BILLS – Stephon Gilmore/CB – South Carolina
Detroit Lions was seriously looking to move up in their desperate effort to pursue and draft Stephon Gilmore. Obviously that didn’t happen.

There’s your Top Ten picks for the 2012 NFL Draft. Who do you think will flourish, succeed, dominate and make a name for themselves; and who do you think will follow in JaMarcus Russell’s footstep and be a major bust?
